“Beast” was sent to Alex 6 years ago to be sold "An unhappy troubled horse" who had not responded to the discipline he had been subjected too. When she first rode him he took off with her and didn’t stop for several miles. although Alex was very frightened she saw something in the scared horse and decided to keep him for herself. It hasn’t been easy but he now is a successful eventer and a very big part of the heart of Back on Track Farm.
“Silly” The farms famous racehorse. Silly raced twice as a two year old and won both his races. Before his career could continue he was injured, after several surgeries and some post surgery complications, he life as a race horse was over. Alex and Mark found him in New York State, in very poor condition, After a year of intensive care and feeding he is now about to become a dad! We have just started to ride him and teach him to do some dressage and jumping. He was second in his very first dressage show!
Has had a good life. She was fox-hunter until she injured her hock last year. her owner had purchased her from Alex and asked if she wanted her back. She now expecting her first baby!
Is a PMU baby. These foals are a by product from a drug found in a pregnant mares urine. Frick is almost 3 years old. He has been with us for a little over a year. He is a trusting soul and loves food and attention. He enjoys mints and is growing quite tall.
Also a PMU baby. We think he is a half brother to Frick as he is very similar looking. Although similar in looks there personalities are very different Frack is very shy and doesn’t trust people. He needs time to get to know you, and is afraid of anything new.
Although another PMU baby, she couldn’t be more different. Miss is the bravest , most inquisitive horse ever! She wants to be with you the whole time. What ever your doing she wants to help. She loves everyone and can’t get enough attention! she has started her career under saddle and already has been ridden down the drive.
